Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, Popularly called Burna Boy, is a Nigerian Singer and Songwriter from Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He was born on 2 July 1991, in Port Harcourt to a Nigerian mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Ogulu. They raised him in Ahoada and later relocated to Lagos State, wherein he completed his primary education.

Burna Boy became nominated for the 2013 Next Rated Artiste award at The Headies. However, he lost the award to fellow singer Sean Tizzle. His debut album L.I.F.E. became nominated for the Best Album Of The Year at the 2014 Nigerian Entertainment Awards.
Two years after becoming a music star, he parted methods with Aristokrat Records and based his own track label, Spaceship Entertainment, in February 2015. Under Spaceship, he has launched four other commercially hit albums and track projects. On November 25, 2015, he dropped his highly predicted second studio album, On A Spaceship. The album became intently supported via a debut E.P., Redemption, launched in September 2016.
