Pritam Chakraborty is an Indian singer, multi-instrumentalist, businessman, music director, record producer, actor, and composer for Bollywood films. He is first-class called a soundtrack composer for films which includes Jab We Met (2007), Love Aaj Kal (2009), Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai (2010), Cocktail (2012), Barfi! Pritam was born Pritam Chakraborty on 14 September 1971 in Kolkata in West Bengal, India. Pritam was born in a Bengali Brahmin family to Anuradha Chakraborty and Prabodh Chakraborty. He received his early training in tune from his father and was discovered to play the guitar even as he was still in school. He went to St. James’ School and earned a geology bachelor’s degree from Presidency College.
Pritam joined FTII, Pune, where he took up Sound Recording and Engineering in 1994.
