Ruth Berhe published her first video clip on Vine in May 2013. To get an adequate reaction, she continued making quick singing Vines with covers of famous songs, which helped her get a good fan following. In November of the following year, she published a Vine in which she sang a line stimulated through the tv series ‘Once Upon a Time.
The overwhelming reaction to the clip shocked me because it garnered about 84,000 likes inside a week. Encouraged by her followers, she made a complete song, which was ‘Lost Boy.’ Following its reputation on Vine, she published it on YouTube in January 2015 and released it on iTunes in February 2015. At the 2017 Juno Awards, she bagged the Breakthrough Artist of the Year award.
