Christopher George Latore Wallace was born on 21st May 1972 and he was 24 years old at the time of his death (9th March 1997). Biggie was born to a family of Jamaican immigrant parents Voletta Wallace, his mother and Selwyn George Latore, his father. Biggie’s mother is a pre-school teacher and his father was a welder and politician. Biggie had a hard time in his childhood as his father left him when he was only 2 years old leading his mother to work 2 jobs to raise Biggie. Biggie life has been very different and his debut was old-school. Biggie started rapping when he was a teenager on the streets and started entertaining people with his school.
Biggie slowly started working with small local groups . Biggie has adopted the name MC CWest during his early years.
